Val Verde Unified School District is located at the heart of the Inland Empire and is predominantly rural. The District is fortunate to have three communities with whom we have formed successful community and business partnerships. Both community and business members play an active role in our school site activities and are part of the Superintendent's Advisory Committee.

The communities within the District boundaries reflect the total spectrum of socioeconomic levels. The demographic breakdown is as follows: American Indian: .26%; Asian: 1.58%; Pacific Islander: .32%; Filipino: 1.58%; Hispanic: 72.73%; African American: 14.48%; White: 5.88%; Two or More Races: 18.22%; and 4,968 (25%) of the students are identified as English Learners. In addition, 83.66% of the students in the District receive free and/or reduced lunch.
