District Security
"The District Security Division has three basic goals, to protect our students, to protect our staff members and to protect school district property. The District has twenty-five District Security Agent positions and they are assigned to each one of our secondary campuses. Each District Security Agent has been specially trained on how to deal with students, the laws of arrest, search and seizure, and first aid and CPR. Their primary function is to keep the peace and the campuses free from disruption. Often times, District Security Agents serve as a conduit between students and campus administrators. They deter crime and try to promote positive behavior amongst our student population. The District also has a night and weekend security team. Their primary role is to protect all of our sites and campuses from theft, vandalism and fire during non-student hours. I came to our District over three years ago. I come from an extensive law enforcement background with over thirty years of experience. Please feel free to contact me if you have any security questions or concerns."
