This state agency will provide resource & referral information about parenting classes, support groups, etc. The will also provide referrals to licensed childcare homes/centers.

FSA Child Development Services offer a variety of programs for children and their families. Childcare is available for children from infancy through 3 years of age (subsidized state program). The hours are 6 am – 7 pm Monday – Friday. Fees are based on a sliding scale. Private Pay Childcare Program is available for low-income families. Flat fee of $200/week for children from infancy through 3 years of age. Program will begin mid-September 2006. The hours are 6 am-7 pm Monday –Friday.

Childcare is available for children 3 months through 5 years of age. For infants, childcare is free for parents of low income who are working or going to school with length of day based on parents' work/school schedule. For 3 to 5 year olds in income-eligible families, there is a free preschool regardless of whether parent is working or going to school but length of day is 3 ½ hours. The child may be enrolled in the morning or afternoon class. State preschool is also offered for families who qualify. Hours are 8:00-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-4:00 p.m.
