Will provide various services for anyone with disabilities (whether physical or learning disabilities) including advocacy and training for self-advocacy; assistive technology; housing assistance; providing resources, information, and referral for independent living; etc. These folks maintain a registry for attendants for the disabled and will provide interpreters for the deaf and hard of hearing. They also have people who will read for the blind and peer support services. There are more offices than the two listed here. Telephone for more information. Translating (ASL/Spanish) is available. This agency will issue emergency food & motel vouchers, and provide rental assistance as funds allow. They also have a program to help adapt people's homes to adjust for handicaps (RAMP) and a program designed to help seniors with low vision.
