This support group is for parents & caregivers of children who are experiencing difficulty with mental health / emotional / behavioral problems. The group meets on the 4 th Friday of every month from 6 to 8 pm at the YMCA ( 4020 Jefferson St. ) in Riverside , CA . Daycare provided for $2 per hour per child. There is a group in Corona , California at 1331 River Road . This group will meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 6-8 pm. Childcare will be available for $2 per child per hour. Isolation is a very lonely place to be and sharing your experiences, struggles, frustrations, and finding helpful resources can be the start to a support system that may have a positive and long lasting influence for both you and your child. If you have a question or just need to talk, please don't hesitate to call. Your call is confidential and will be returned from a parent employed by the department who has experience raising a child with emotional challenges. Your call will be returned within 24 hours, Monday through Friday.

YWCA(951) 687-9922 Co-Parenting Classes: These classes are taught by Virginia Marquez. This class is for 2 household parenting, working together to raise their children. This is a 6 week course and is a court-approved program. The fee is $180 for the 6 week session. (The $180 fee can be paid $30 weekly.) Call for more details (951) 687-9922.
YWCA Parenting(951) 687-9922 Parenting Classes: This is a 6 week course also taught by Virginia Marquez. This course lays the framework for raising children, birth throughout adolescence. The emphasis is on parent responsibility and accountability. The fee is $90 per person for the 6 weeks. United Way funding is available for those who are eligible.
