Child Help USA1 (800) 422-4453 [1 (800) 4 A CHILD] - National Child Abuse Hotline This is a private, non-profit agency designed to provide child abuse services. Their staff will provide crisis counseling & referral information for people who have been abused. They will also provide parenting resources / information about child abuse. Family Services Association, CHAT (Child Abuse Treatment) Program21250 Box Springs Road Moreno Valley , CA 92557 (951) 369-8036 Provides free counseling services to children who have experienced any type (e.g., emotional, physical, sexual) of abuse.
Prevent Child Abuse America1 (800) 244-5373 (M-F 9-5 but messages may be left at other times) This organization will send information but only by snail mail. For example, they will send tips on discipline. Some information is available in Spanish.
S.A.F.E. (Safe Alternatives for Everyone)(951) 587-3900 This Temecula based organization provides information, resources, case management, education, and support to those who have experienced, or are at risk of, abuse or violence. Upon invitation, this agency will provide a two-hour teen dating violence curriculum to families/teachers & students. Teen anger management and victim awareness. Police Activities League: Law enforcement volunteers coordinate special events for at-risk students. Fee: $20/year but if needed, fee may be waived.
