Westside ( Citrus Hill High school) Part I

The earthwork is progressing and is 95 percent complete. Installation of the retaining wall is continuing and is 99 percent complete. The installation of the 60” and 36”storm water drain system are also complete with the exception of offsite structures. The sub-terrain drain and AG water re-route portion of construction is complete. Underground fire and domestic water lines are also nearing completion. Off -site street improvements are underway at, and across Wood and Markham Streets, with a few peripheral issues currently awaiting County review and approval.

Work progressed throughout the month of February with flatwork throughout the campus, at the Home side bleachers, and out at the Baseball fields. Angel mix, field irrigation, and fence installation at the baseball and soccer fields are also underway. Split face CMU wall north of the Softball fields is complete, backfilled, and compacted to be 100%.

The Football Stadium French drain system is installed, with backfill behind the east retaining wall complete and export of dirt stockpile has been completed. The gas is energized to all buildings and permanent power is energized to the Industrial Arts building, the Library, two Science buildings, the Administration building, the Gym, and the Main Data building.

T he District now occupies the Administration Building, with furniture installed. The two Science Buildings are currently being white glove cleaned. Finish air balance has been completed on: Administration, the two Science buildings, the Gym, and the Industrial Arts building. Kitchen equipment has been delivered and is being installed in the Cafeteria.

Wood flooring is about 50% complete in the Gym. Roll-up doors have been installed in the snack bar area, kitchen, and snack bar area at the stadium. The standing seam metal roof is about 90% complete on the Gym low roofs. Casework has been delivered to the classroom areas of the Gym, and all classrooms are textured, painted, and have lights installed in T-grid.

The Music building is ready for fabric wrapped wall panels and floor installation. In the Locker/Shower building, the lockers and finish tile are installed, along with stainless steel wall panels and finish plumbing fixtures. The benches are 85% complete with installation.

Building B, the Multi-purpose building, is complete with all framing. Electrical and plumbing rough in is about 90% complete. Mechanical and HVAC rough in is about 80% complete. Roofing has commenced and HVAC units are set on curbs on the roof. Lath and plaster is scheduled to begin the first week of March.
