Citrus Hill High School

Off Site

The plumbers have been trenching for the new sewer connection and manhole to be located on Krameria Street, as well as trenching for the underground water connection is underway. The manhole and hot tap are anticipated to be completed the first week of June. Verizon California is scheduled to complete pulling wire from the existing off site pull box into the electrical room by the first week of June. Edison has completed the repairs to their transformer located on Krameria Street and the site transformer was energized on May 27, 2005.

Site

The concrete flatwork around Building ‘A’ and Building ‘B’ is complete and the majority of flatwork at Building ‘C’ is complete. The cast-in-place retaining wall at the northwest corner of the project was poured and formwork removed. Work is underway on backfilling the area behind the retaining wall. There has been continued progress on the installation of the storm drain system to the detention basin with the completion of the catch basins scheduled for the first part of June. The Electrician has completed standing the light standards at the east parking lot. Installation of the irrigation main line is complete and the installation of lateral lines into the planter areas in the east parking lot and surrounding the buildings have begun.

Building A (Administration)

Installation of casework in the library and at all administration offices is complete. With the plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and low voltage contractors completed above the ceiling grid, the Drywall contractor has completed dropping the acoustical ceiling tiles. The installation of the skylight shafts and lenses are in progress of completion. The installation of all specialties, including toilet partitions, restroom accessories and markerboards have been completed. The electrician has completed the majority of electrical work and continues with miscellaneous pick up work.

Building B (Kindergarten Classrooms)

Casework installation at all classrooms is complete. Following the completion of the ceiling grid the plumbing, HVAC, electrical and low voltage contractors completed their work above the ceiling grid and acoustical ceiling tiles have been placed. Installation of the tackable wall panels and markerboards at all classrooms locations is complete. The electrician has completed the majority of electrical work and continues with miscellaneous pick up work.

Building C (Multi-Purpose Room)

The installation of the quarry tile is complete, with the exception of the area in front of the walk-in unit. Following the completion of the tile, installation of the ceiling grid at the kitchen area was completed. Installation of the acoustical ceiling tiles has begun and installation of the FRP tiles in the kitchen area will continue. Installation of the stainless steel wall panels and stainless steel counters at the kitchen area has begun. Work has also begun on the refrigerator / freezer walk-in unit. Installation of the projection screen at the stage area is underway. The electrician has completed the majority of electrical work and continues with miscellaneous pick up work.

Modular Buildings D, E, F, G, H, and J (Classrooms)

Application of paper, lath and trim metal is complete. Scaffolding at these buildings has been erected and the application of the scratch coat is in progress. The electrician has completed all interior electrical connections and will complete the final PIV and fire riser connections upon scaffold removal.
