Rainbow Ridge Elementary School Growth |
|
| Construction really began in earnest on this project during June. Demolition began immediately following the completion of the school year on June 9th in preparation for a new fire lane, a new two-story building pad, and a new playground. Over excavation and grading for the two-story's pad is presently underway and will complete prior to the 4th of July holiday. Meanwhile, the plumber and electrician have been making utility tie-ins at various locations onsite and have been working on bringing those utilities to the two-story building. This includes the fire line, gas line, sewer line, lo-voltage systems, and power. Other systems to follow shortly include storm drainage, two new fire hydrants, and sleeves for irrigation. This project will intensify significantly during July. Electrical rough-in, plumbing rough-in, and footings should all transpire during the first three weeks of July for the two-story building. Site utilities will continue through mid-July. Some sitework appurtenant to the placement of the site's new fire lane, such as curb and gutter, ribbon gutter, and a concrete header, will be completed during the third week of July. Finally, the month ahead will culminate with the placement of new asphalt pavement on July 29th at the fire lane and playground east of the existing campus. |
