Lasselle Elementary School
The plumbing constructor continues to work on the site fire line loop. The system is ready for testing and back filling will be completed shortly. The excavations for the concrete retaining walls located at the northwest corner of the site and handicap access ramp and stair to the ball fields has begun. The formwork and installation of rebar has begun at the access ramp and stair.
Building A (Administration) The majority of framing for this building is complete. The roof joists have been installed. Currently the framing for the cupola roof over the entry to the Administration area and the framing of the soffit for the radius window at the Library entrance is underway. The mechanical rough-in for this building has commenced. The HVAC curbs and exhaust fan curbs were installed following the completion of the roof sheeting. The installation of the unit plenums and branch ducts are also underway.
Building B (Kindergarten Classrooms) The wall framing is complete, along with the installation of the roof joists, wall sheeting and roof sheeting. Following the substantial completion of the building framing, other trades began their work in this building. The plumbing rough-in for this building, including the installation of roof drains, waste and vent lines at the restrooms along with the water supply lines is underway. The electrical rough-in at this building has also begun, which includes running the conduit from the foundation stub ups along with the installation of j-boxes and receptacles for power and lighting. The installation of HVAC curbs and exhaust fan curbs along with the mechanical rough-in of the unit plenums and branch ducts have been completed.
Building C (Multi-Purpose Room) Following the completion of the concrete slab, including the stage ramps and stairs, framing layout began. The wall framing at this building is well underway. The installation of the roof joists has begun at the main area of the Multi-Purpose Room and at the stage. Preparation has begun for the application of the Intumescent Fireproofing at various structural steel columns and beams throughout this building.
Modular Buildings D, E, F, G, H, and J (Classrooms) The footings have been dug for Buildings D and F. The footing formwork is complete for Building D and in progress on Building F. HVAC rough in on Building B. Framing
