Citrus Hill High School
The earthwork is progressing and is 95 percent complete. Installation of the retaining wall is continuing and is 99 percent complete. The installation of the 60” and 36”storm water drain system are also complete with the exception of offsite structures. The sub-terrain drain and AG water re-route portion of construction is complete. Underground fire and domestic water lines are also nearing completion. Off -site street improvements are underway at, and across Wood and Markham Streets, with a few peripheral issues currently awaiting County review and approval.
Citrus Hills High School Part II
Construction started August 4, 2003 with the Gymnasium. Subsequently, the Administration Building, Library, two Science Buildings, Vocational Arts Building, Cafeteria, Weight Room, Stadium Snack Bar, Music Building, Electrical Building, three Classroom Buildings, Amphitheatre, Football Stadium and six Modular Buildings are set and progressing with interior electrical and casework.
Work progressed throughout the month of November with flatwork throughout the campus, base, compaction and asphaltic concrete is complete in the northwest student parking lot, and fence installation in the baseball and soccer fields is underway. The Football Stadium grading and French drain system is in progress, the bleacher press box, home, and visitor seating is in place, and flatwork is complete behind the press box.
The Administration Building is nearly complete and currently ready for partitions to be installed and the district to move furniture in. Industrial Arts Building has casework installed and floor coverings scheduled to start the week of 12/6. The Cafeteria has casework and lights being installed with kitchen equipment to follow. The Library is nearing completion. The geo-flex roofs are completed on the all buildings with the Gym currently in progress. The Gymnasium is the largest building on the campus, with M.E.P. rough in 80% complete & metal stud framing is 90% complete.
The music building has drywall textured with interior lighting, t-grid, painting, and casework in progress. In the Locker/ shower building, the concrete pads for the lockers and finish tile are being installed. Building B, the Multi-purpose building, is in the framing stage of construction with 80% of the walls standing in place.
