Lasselle Elementary School

Site

The General Construction Package is currently working on the installation of the site sewer and fire line loop. Soil import has also continued, which is necessary to complete the grading at the north end of the ball fields. The underground utilities, including sewer, water and gas have been completed at the Modular Classroom Buildings.

Building A (Administration)

Following the completion of the concrete slab, the structural steel columns and beams that frame the radius window at the Library were erected. The framing contractor began layout of the walls and sill plates. The majority of exterior walls have been framed and erected. Work is beginning on the framing of interior supporting walls.

Building B (Kindergarten Classrooms)

The concrete slab for the Kindergarten Classrooms are complete. The balance of interior walls have been erected, following the completion of the exterior framing. Roof framing has begun with the setting of the TJI’s (composite truss joists).

Building C (Multi-Purpose Room)

All electrical and plumbing stubups in preparation for the second footing pour have been completed. The concrete footings and columns bases for this building are also complete. Following the completion of the footings, the electrical contractor returned to set the floor boxes prior to the sand and visqueen placement. The General Construction Package has also completed the installation of rebar in preparation for the concrete slab pour.

Modular Buildings D, E, F, G, H, and J (Classrooms)

The footings have been dug for Buildings D and F. The footing formwork is complete for Building D and in progress on Building F.
