Columbia Elementary School

OFFSITE: Exploratory digging for locating water and gas lines in Rider Street in preparation for the grading of the street has been completed. The conduit installation for Edison, Verizon and Adelphia is nearing completion. The majority of electrical vaults have been set along Rider Street, and will be followed by vault installations along Clark Street and Haines Street. The street crossings for Rider Street and Haines Street have begun; this will allow the new under ground service to be connected to the existing overhead service for the residence on the south side of Rider Street.

SITE: The handicap access ramps to the ball fields are complete. The backstops for the baseball fields have been completed along with the fencing around the dugouts. The installation of the irrigation at the ball fields is in progress. Planting has begun in all the planter areas around the buildings. The slurry seal coat at the main parking lot, and striping are complete. The light pole installation at the parking lot is complete.

BUILDING A: Punchlist for the Administration Building was issued on June 24, 2004. Contractors have started repairs for punchlist items. The Val Verde Unified School District will occupy this building on July 7, 2004.

BUILDING B: Punchlist for the Kindergarten Classroom Building was issued on June 24, 2004. Contractors have started repairs for punchlist items.

BUILDING C: Punchlist for this building will be issued for this building on July 1, 2004.
