Val Verde High School

Flatwork was placed around Bldg F during June. Low-voltage and electrical scope of work were in progress during the latter half of June and will complete during the first half of July. Installation of ceiling tiles will complete during the first full week of July. Casework will be delivered on 7/15. Floorcoverings, the final schedule task, will commence 7/20 and complete by 7/23.

A new 48' x 40' relocatable classroom will be installed at the new Val Verde High School campus as part of this new project, which will bid on July 8th at 2:00PM. This building will serve as a culinary arts facility, as the title implies, which will be used to teach students the nuances of running the restaurant business. Construction for this project is scheduled to commence on 7/19 and tentatively scheduled to complete no later than 10/22.

Footings were placed for all three buildings that will comprise the Opportunity School (Seven Modulars and One Toilet Unit). These buildings will be transported from the existing Val Verde High School campus to the Opportunity School site beginning July 8th. Meanwhile, 90% of underground plumbing systems for this project have been installed. The projected completion date for this project remains October 1st.
