Columbia Elementary School

OFFSITE: Approved street improvement drawings have been received and the utility work for Rider Street will begin by the end of the month.

SITE: The majority of concrete flatwork throughout the site has been completed. The installation of irrigation lateral lines and sprinkler heads throughout the planter areas have been completed. The installation of irrigation in the ball field area will begin soon. The play equipment has been installed at the Kindergarten play area and the layout for the Elementary play equipment has also begun. The basketball poles have been set and the game court area is being graded in preparation for asphalt placement.

BUILDING A: The installation of all electrical devices, along with outlets and switches in this building have been completed. The installation of thermostats and wiring for the Energy Management System throughout this building are complete. The installation of the fire alarm devices is complete and the data connections have begun throughout the building. The installation of the carpet, VCT and cove base is complete in this building. The punchlist walk for this building will begin June 1, 2004.

BUILDING B: The installation of outlets, switches and lighting has been completed. This building has been wired for connection to the Energy Management System, along with the installation of all thermostats. The data connections for this building are also underway. The installation of the carpet, VCT and cove base is complete. The walk for punchlist on this building will begin June 1, 2004.

BUILDING C: The installation of all plumbing fixtures throughout the Multi-Purpose Building, including the restroom fixtures and drinking fountains have been completed. Toilet partitions have been installed in the restrooms. The installation of all outlets, switches and electrical devices for this building is currently under going completion . The installation of door hardware on all interior and exterior doors is near completion. The installation of the fire sprinkler heads in this building is complete. The installation of the acoustical ceiling tile to complete the suspended ceiling has begun. The walk for punchlist on this building will begin June 1, 2004.
