Indian Middle School

Contracts have now been awarded for 14 of 16 total prime contracts. All bids were rejected for BP #7 (Doors/Frames/Hardware) and BP #8 (Lath & Plaster). Both of these bid packages will be re-bid on 5/12/05 at 2PM.

Construction began in earnest at the IMS during April. The grading operation was in full swing during the last two weeks of April. The Building C pad was fine graded on 4/23/05. All other buildings (including portables) have been over excavated. Building A and Building B pads will be fine graded/delivered during the first week of May.

Underground plumbing rough-in began at Building C on 4/25/05. The Plumbing Contractor will be ready to roll over to Building A and Building B as soon as the grader completes each respective pad. The Electrician mobilized on 4/29/05 and will begin their Building C underground rough-in beginning 5/2/05.

On the horizon, look for footing excavation to begin at Building C and Building A during the second half of May, while all underground plumbing and electrical should also be completed during May at Building C, Building A, and Building B.
