Lasselle Elementary School

Off Site

The Electrician has completed the installation of the underground conduit and street crossing from the Edison slab box, which will house the site transformer, located within the property line of the school to the Edison transformer located on the northwest corner of Krameria Street and Gelding Way. The termination of underground conduit into the Edison transformer slab box is complete. The street crossing for the Verizon conduit is also completed. The future stub out for Adelphia has been completed to the school property line.

Site

Following the completion of finish grading at the parking lot and fire lane, the General Contractor completed the majority of the concrete curb and gutter installation. Placing flatwork around Building ‘A’ and Building ‘B’ has begun. Work continues on setting formwork for the remaining flatwork in these areas and at Building ‘C’. The service corridors at the modular classroom units were backfilled in preparation to receive flatwork. The formwork for the cast-in-place retaining wall at the northwest corner of the site, which will include the school name is in progress. Installation of the storm drain system continues. Currently the final run towards the detention basin, located at the southwest corner of the site is being completed.

Building A (Administration)

The installation of vinyl wall covering at all administration offices and the library area, including the write able wall surfacing have been completed. Following the completion of the wall covering installation, the installation of the acoustical ceiling grid was completed. The installation of the fluorescent lighting fixtures, all ceiling mounted devices and low voltage devices have begun. Installation of all HVAC grills located within the acoustical ceiling grid is complete. Installation and grouting of ceramic tile at all restrooms is complete. The layout for the pressure treated floor plates has begun.

Building B (Kindergarten Classrooms)

Dropping of the fluorescent light fixtures at the ceiling grid, along with the installation of all ceiling mounted devices has been completed. The installation of all low voltage devices has begun. The installation of all HVAC supply and return grills located within the ceiling grid is complete. Installation of casework in the classrooms has begun.

Building C (Multi-Purpose Room)

Following the completion of the vinyl wall covering installation, the installation of the acoustical ceiling grid began. The ceiling gird installation has been completed at the multi-purpose area, stage and hallway areas. The ceiling grid installation at the kitchen area will be completed following the tile operation. Installation of the HVAC grills at all areas has begun where the ceiling grid has been completed. Installation and grouting of tile at the restrooms throughout the building has begun. The installation and grouting of the quarry tile at the kitchen is also underway.

Modular Buildings D, E, F, G, H, and J (Classrooms)

The majority of the casework installation at all classroom buildings has been completed. Application of paper, lath and expansion meta continues. Scaffolding at these buildings in preparation for the stucco operation has been erected. Installation of all thermostats and lighting control for connection to the Energy Management System (EMS) has been completed.
