Columbia Elementary School

SITE: American Landscaping, Inc. began the installation of sleeving under all areas to receive concrete flatwork in preparation for running the irrigation lines. ASR Constructors, Inc. is currently setting formwork for the concrete flatwork in front of Buildings “A” and “B”.

BUILDING A: Westland Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. has completed the installation of the HVAC curbs for this building and is currently working on all duct connections to these units. Sierra Lathing Company, Inc. has finished hanging drywall in the Administration Building and the texture application is to begin this week. BEC, Inc. has returned to this building to complete the top-out for electrical conduit in the ceilings for lighting fixtures. Continental Marble & Tile Company set the accent wall tiles on the exterior of the building following the application of the scratch and brown coats of stucco. Berger Bros., Inc. began the application of the stucco color coat this week.

BUILDING B: Following the completion of the Geoflex roofing installation by Stone Roofing Company, Inc. the drywall installation and insulation was completed by Sierra Lathing Company, Inc. and their sub-contractor ALCAL Roofing & Insulation. Westland Heating & Air Conditioning has set the HVAC curbs on the roof of this building and has made the duct connections to the plenums. Continental Marble & Tile Company set the accent tiles at the exterior of this building following the completion of the scratch and brown coats of stucco by Berger Bros., Inc. The application of the stucco color coat at the building base and parapet trim detail has also been completed.

BUILDING C: C & M Framing has completed the majority of framing for this building and is currently working on miscellaneous framing at the kitchen area. PK Mechanical Systems is nearing completion of all plumbing rough-in for gas, water and waste lines. The roof drain system has also been completed. BEC, Inc. is currently running all electrical conduit in the walls and installing the electrical panels in the electrical room of the Multi-Use Building. Stone Roofing Company, Inc. has started the installation of the dens deck underlayment in preparation for the Geoflex membrane roofing application. ISEC, Inc. has completed the installation of all exterior hollow metal door and window frames and is currently working on the installation of the interior hollow metal frames. Berger Bros., Inc. is nearing completion of the paper and lath application at the exterior of this building.

MODULARS: The application of the scratch and color coats of stucco at Modular Building “D”, “E”, “F” and “G” has been completed. The color coat application began this week and has been completed at the base and parapet trim detail of each building.
