Red Maple Elementary
SITEWORK: Parking Lot “A”, fire lane access, hard court play area’s, and hardscape area north of the classrooms have been completely AC Paved making the campus about 85% complete for this scope of work. Footings for the can wash next to Bldg C, and footings for the two ball walls in the hardscape area are complete. Grading for the handicap ramp on front of Bldg A has begun, and the grading for the V-ditch on the west side of the campus is complete. All contractors that had storage bins on the ball field moved them to the parking lot, allowing the finish grade process to begin.
BUILDING A: Final blocking and pick up work completed the framing process for this building. Insulation and drywall is 100% complete, taping for the drywall will now begin. Electricians have located the switchgear in the electrical room. HVAC ducts are 100% complete for their rough in, and will wait until the suspended ceiling is installed to finish the installation with the registers. The brown coat has been applied and is 100% complete. We are waiting for the seven-day requirement before color is applied. The roofer has installed all the geoflex, and will install the metal roof along with the cap flashing after the stucco is complete.
BUILDING B: Final blocking and pick up work completed the framing process for this building. Insulation and drywall is 95% complete, taping for the drywall will now begin. Electricians has the switchgear on site and will place it in the building after the drywall is installed. HVAC ducts are 100% complete for their rough in, and will wait until the suspended ceiling is installed to finish the installation with the registers. The roofers are approximately 80% complete with the roof. They will be 100% after the stucco is completed, and the weather permits them. The brown coat for the stucco is 50% complete.
BUILDING C: The roof is now ready for the roofer to begin, everything has been inspected and approved by the IOR. The lathers are 100% complete for wrapping the building with paper and mesh. Scratch coat will begin after the roof is installed. The plumbers are 95% complete with their rough in, electricians are 80% with theirs. The framers have minor detail work on the outside from some lattice, and some blocking for the interior. BUILDINGS D, E, F, and G: All four of the Modular Classrooms have been scratch coated, after buildings A and B are complete with the brown coats, the classrooms will follow.
